Player/Coach Quotes:

"We're going to prepare like any other team. I mean, we're just going to take it one game at a time and prepare like any other game. We know they're going to be tough, obviously. But we're going to fight, too." -Running Back Jordan Hall

"He did a good job. The number one thing he did was hold onto the football, played some plays with his feet, settled down, threw some good balls later in the game.

The ball wasn't coming out of his hands as well as he would have liked or anybody else would have liked. He settled down. Took some shots. Still got up and continued to compete. I think that's the number one important thing we saw from him, his demeanor, how he competed." -Head Coach Luke Fickell on Braxton Miller's play against Colorado

"He's a young guy, so you want to have his back, you want to make sure he doesn't get too banged up. We've got to look out for him. We've got to make sure we give him opportunities to do his thing." -Left Guard Jack Mewhort on protecting Braxton Miller

“It’s definitely an honor,” he said. “It will be one of my greatest memories at Ohio State.” -Jordan Hall on being named captain

Other Notes:

-Jordan Hall, Nate Oliver and Nate Ebner are this week's game captains.

-Jaamal Berry is undergoing tests for a medical condition that may have led to an altercation on campus earlier this week.

-It's very unlikely that Corey Brown will play, he is still recovering from his ankle sprain.

-This is the final week that the Buckeyes will be without their four suspended players. All of them are eligible to play Oct. 8 at Nebraska. It has not been announced if they will start or how much playing time they will get next week.

  5. buckeyes struggling early. weather definitely a factor. Need a stop here!

  6. Defense has got to stop the run today! Can’t let that happen

  7. And there it is. Where the hell was our defense?

  8. Eventually they’ll let Miller pass the ball. Need to have a balanced offense in order to win!

  9. Holding on what would have resulted in a first down. Of course.
